The Harry Chapin album “Greatest Stories Live” was released in 1976, collecting the best recordings from three concerts in California in November of 1975. At one of the shows, in Los Angeles, the amps on stage kept picking up the signal from a local radio station. Harry made subtle reference to this little technical glitch while singing “W.O.L.D.” his song about a radio disc jockey.
And that is my awkward yet clumsy segue into a radio themed collection of songs to pass the time on a Friday.
Try to be nice to each other.
